Configuring RiteCart to meet PCI DSS Standards
-
RiteCart does not store Credit Card information in the system and uses encryption mechanism to transfer any Credit Card information across the public network.
It is required that Customers use Payment Processors which support encryption mechanisms to transfer payment information across public networks.
It is important to note that while RiteCart is an integral part of the chain in obtaining PCI Compliance, it is necessary to implement RiteCart in a PCI compliant hosting environment. We have given recommendations here on configuring RiteCart to meet the PCI-DSS.
